What’s happening at the dentist?
New York dentist Robert King is among those who have been told he is under investigation by the New York State Medical Board.
The board announced in a statement on Wednesday that it was “aware of” King’s practice of failing to follow standard procedures for patients with dental implants.
King is not a licensed dentist in New York and is the sole director of the dental office at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.
His office, in the Manhattan borough of Manhattan, is located in the lower-level lobby.
The statement said the board was aware of King’s failure to adhere to protocols and was investigating his practices.
It said that King has been the subject of multiple state and federal investigations in the past and that he has been removed from his practice by the board.
The state board has jurisdiction over the medical profession and is not the sole enforcement agency for the laws in New Jersey.
